Stiller, a resident of Chappaqua, turns 51 Nov. 30.
Stiller is an actor, writer, producer and director who was born Nov. 30, 1965, in New York City. His mother is actor Anne Meara and his father is actor/comedian Jerry Stiller.
He won an Emmy for directing, producing, and writing “The Ben Stiller Show,” which was on TV from 1989-90 and again in 1993.
Stiller starred in the films “There’s Something About Mary,” “Permanent Midnight,” “Along Came Polly,” “Starsky and Hutch” and “The Royal Tannenbaums”.
He is married to Christine Taylor, with whom he has two children.
Stiller and Taylor are active in Democratic politics, and support several charities, including the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation and several animal rights groups.
